UX/UI Design Intern (Product-Focused)

Anyone can make an interface look good. We’re looking for a designer who can make a complex problem make sense.
Nyayasiddhi, an Indian legaltech company, is hiring a UX/UI Design Intern (Product-Focused) to join our design team.
This is a hands-on internship on live product work. It suits a final-year student who sees design as problem-solving first and visuals second.
The craft you’ll practise
Turn requirements into clear, logical user flows, wireframes and structured experiences for web applications
Build clean, functional interfaces in Figma, with usability as the test
Improve forms, tables and data-heavy screens for clarity and efficiency
Contribute to and maintain a design system and its reusable components
Find gaps, edge cases and usability issues before they reach users
Support design documentation and developer handoff
How we expect you to think
You break a complex problem into simple flows
You work through a design cycle: understand the problem, explore, validate, iterate
You explore several solutions before settling on one
You research a new problem space on your own
You use AI tools to move faster, and you know when design judgment has to take over
Who this is for
Final-year undergraduates in Design, HCI, CS or a related field
Self-driven candidates who take ownership of their work
Candidates with a grounding in UX principles and usability, who are comfortable in Figma
Detail-oriented people who take feedback well
An advantage if you have it
A portfolio, academic or personal
Experience designing web apps or dashboards
An understanding of responsive design and component systems
Exposure to AI-assisted design workflows
What you’ll take away
How to design within real product constraints
How to think in systems and scalability, beyond individual screens
Experience with a design system in a production environment
Practice handling complex user journeys and edge cases
Experience working in a cross-functional product team

Type: Internship
Location: Hyderabad, on-site / hybrid
Stipend: INR 10K to 15k
