Architectural Designer

Role Description The Architectural Designer will support the design of spaces and environments aligned with SwiftStack iOS Labs’ digital products and brand presence. This contract, remote role involves developing architectural concepts, producing drawings, and assisting in the translation of design requirements into functional, visually coherent layouts for offices, labs, or client-facing spaces. Day-to-day tasks include preparing construction drawings, refining design details, coordinating with stakeholders to understand spatial needs, and ensuring that plans comply with relevant codes and standards. The Architectural Designer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align physical spaces with workflow, technology usage, and user experience goals.
Qualifications
Demonstrated skills in Architecture and Architectural Design for commercial, office, or tech-oriented spaces.
Proficiency in Construction Drawings and technical Drawing for accurate, buildable documentation.
Experience or interest in Urban Planning and site planning for small-scale developments or facility layouts.
Ability to use CAD/BIM tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp) and visualization software for presentations.
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Understanding of building codes, accessibility standards, and sustainable design principles.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a remote, multidisciplinary environment.
Portfolio showcasing relevant architectural and design work; experience with tech or startup environments is a plus.

Residential floor planning
2D architectural drawings
Space planning & optimization
Small and narrow plot planning
Staircase, parking and utility planning
Understanding of residential construction
AutoCAD / Revit / SketchUp or similar architectural software
Basic understanding of structural planning and future floor expansion
Ability to convert client requirements into practical layouts
Experience: Freshers with a strong portfolio as well as experienced professionals can apply.
