Associate Attorney

Role Description The Associate Attorney will provide legal support and guidance across Beta’s operations, with a particular focus on employment-related matters and corporate compliance. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing and drafting contracts, policies, and agreements; conducting legal research; and preparing clear, practical legal advice for leadership and internal teams. The role involves advising on labor and employment law issues, supporting negotiations with partners or third parties, and assisting in resolving legal disputes or employee-related matters. The Associate Attorney will collaborate closely with HR, operations, and management to ensure the company’s practices comply with applicable laws and regulations. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Tiruvallur.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Law with practical experience applying legal principles in a corporate or commercial setting.
Knowledge of Labor and Employment Law, including workplace policies, employee relations, and regulatory compliance.
Ability to provide clear, concise Legal Advice to non-legal stakeholders and support decision-making processes.
Proficiency in legal Research to analyze statutes, case law, and regulations relevant to the company’s operations.
Effective Negotiation skills to support contracts, settlements, and agreements with internal and external parties.
Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B) from an accredited institution; enrollment with the Bar Council and eligibility to practice law.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and organization.
Ability to work on-site in Tiruvallur, collaborate across teams, and manage multiple matters simultaneously.
Prior experience in corporate, technology, or startup environments is an advantage.
