About
Project Growth X is looking for MIS & Data Analytics Engineer who can transform this data into
meaningful business insights, automate reporting, and support decision-making across all
departments.
Roles & Responsibilities
● Design, develop, and maintain MIS reports and business dashboards for leadership.
● Work closely with Product, Engineering, HR, Finance, Operations, Marketing, and
Customer Success teams to understand reporting requirements.
● Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, analyze, and validate data.
● Develop Python scripts to automate data collection, cleaning, transformation, and
reporting.
● Build automated reports and dashboards using tools such as Metabase, Power BI,
Looker Studio, or similar BI platforms.
● Monitor business KPIs and generate daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
● Identify data inconsistencies and ensure high standards of data quality and accuracy.
● Analyze trends, user behavior, operational performance, and business metrics to support
strategic decisions.
● Create data pipelines and automate recurring MIS processes.
● Collaborate with engineering teams to improve data availability and reporting efficiency.
● Support ad-hoc data requests from leadership and cross-functional teams.
● Maintain proper documentation of reports, KPIs, and reporting processes.
Required Skills
● 2–5 years of experience in MIS, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or Reporting.
● Strong SQL skills with the ability to write complex queries and optimize performance.
● Proficiency in Python for data analysis and automation.
● Experience with Excel (Advanced), Google Sheets, and spreadsheet automation.
● Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Metabase, Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
Studio.
● Good understanding of relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL
Server.
● Experience working with APIs and importing/exporting data is preferred.
● Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data visualization skills.
● Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with multiple business
departments.
Preferred Skills
● Knowledge of Pandas, NumPy, and data visualization libraries.
● Experience with ETL pipelines and workflow automation.
● Basic understanding of Machine Learning concepts.
● Familiarity with cloud databases and data warehouses.
● Experience working in SaaS or AI product companies.
● Knowledge of AI tools for reporting and analytics automation.
Qualifications
● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics,
Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
● Equivalent practical experience with strong analytical skills is also welcome.
