Engineering Tech I

As an Engineering Technician I, you will play a key role in keeping our resort running at its best. Your hands-on skills and problem-solving abilities will help create a safe, comfortable, and memorable experience for every guest. From preventative maintenance and everyday repairs to troubleshooting unexpected issues, your work will make a visible impact throughout the resort.
As an Engineering Technician I, you will:
Complete maintenance work orders, preventive maintenance, and special projects.
Perform general repairs, including painting, caulking, and facility upkeep.
Troubleshoot and repair basic plumbing, lighting, and electrical issues.
Install and troubleshoot TVs, appliances, and in-room electronics.
Use maintenance systems to document, track, and complete assigned work.
Respond promptly and professionally to guest maintenance requests.
Communicate effectively with guests and team members to resolve issues.
Follow established safety procedures and properly use tools and equipment.
Identify and address potential safety hazards throughout the property.
Support resort operations with additional maintenance needs and projects as assigned.
High school diploma required.
0–1 year of hands-on experience in a trade or maintenance role, preferably in a resort or commercial environment.
Valid driver’s license that must be maintained in good standing.
Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with the ability to work with energy, focus, and enthusiasm.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with guests and team members.
Adaptable and versatile, with the ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and resort leadership.
Ability to regularly lift, move, push, or pull 50+ pounds.
