Role Description The Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing, configuring, and maintaining automation systems for industrial applications. Day-to-day tasks include developing and testing control logic, integrating electrical and mechanical components, monitoring system performance, and resolving technical issues on the shop floor. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, preparing documentation, and supporting commissioning and maintenance activities. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Kochi, requiring regular coordination with production and project teams to ensure smooth operations and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Automation and Process Control for industrial systems.
Candidates should possess solid Electrical Engineering knowledge to design, integrate, and troubleshoot control panels and circuits.
Candidates should possess experience in Robotics, including configuration, programming, and integration with production lines.
Candidates should possess advanced Troubleshooting abilities for diagnosing and resolving automation and electrical issues.
Relevant engineering degree (e.g., Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Mechatronics) or equivalent practical experience.
Familiarity with PLCs, SCADA, HMIs, and industrial communication protocols is highly beneficial.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and engineering documentation.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely in an industrial environment.
Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with operations, maintenance, and project teams.
