About The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team as a contractor. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in mechanical engineering to analyze technical documents, generate relevant content, and contribute to the development of high-quality training data for AI models. This position offers the flexibility of remote work and is ideal for professionals with a solid background in mechanical engineering or related disciplines who are interested in applying their domain knowledge to the field of artificial intelligence. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in creating and refining technical content that accurately reflects real-world mechanical scenarios, thereby improving the training and evaluation processes of advanced AI systems.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have between 2 to 6 years of professional or academic experience in mechanical engineering or a closely related field. A strong ability to read, interpret, and analyze technical documents is essential. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English are required to effectively convey complex technical concepts. Candidates should demonstrate experience in creating or evaluating technical reports, problem sets, or research studies. Self-management skills and the ability to work independently are crucial, along with a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy. Familiarity with technical documentation and analytical tasks is highly valued. An advanced degree such as a Master’s or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or Biology is preferred, especially for candidates with experience in interdisciplinary or research-driven projects.
Responsibilities
Analyze technical documents related to mechanical engineering to extract key information relevant to project goals.
Generate, review, and refine questions and solutions based on real-world mechanical engineering scenarios to ensure relevance and accuracy.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including AI researchers and data specialists, to ensure the technical depth and correctness of data and analysis.
Provide detailed feedback in written and verbal formats regarding document clarity, technical accuracy, and overall effectiveness of content.
Apply advanced mechanical engineering knowledge to evaluate and resolve complex engineering problems encountered during content creation.
Manage tasks independently, adhering to deadlines and delivering high-quality outputs with minimal supervision.
Contribute to ongoing improvements in data quality, project processes, and workflow efficiency.
