About The Role
We are seeking a skilled Automation Developer (m/w/d) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in automating business processes, developing innovative solutions, and integrating various enterprise systems to enhance operational efficiency. Your expertise will support the digital transformation initiatives of Berlin Recycling, enabling the company to leverage cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence and the Microsoft Power Platform. You will collaborate closely with different departments to understand their needs, translate requirements into technical solutions, and ensure seamless implementation and maintenance of automation workflows. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of waste management through technological innovation and process optimization.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in IT and automation technologies. A completed IT apprenticeship or comparable qualification, such as a Fachinformatiker for Application Development or System Integration, is preferred. Proficiency in Python programming is essential, along with experience in developing, deploying, and optimizing automation scripts and tools. Familiarity with the Microsoft Power Platform, especially Power Automate and Power Apps, is highly advantageous. Knowledge of REST APIs, system integrations, SQL, and database management will be beneficial. Candidates should be comfortable working with data formats such as XML and JSON and have experience with version control systems like Git, as well as CI/CD pipelines. A keen interest in process automation, digitalization, and artificial intelligence, coupled with a proactive and curious mindset, will help candidates succeed in this role.
Responsibilities
Analyze existing business processes to identify automation opportunities, making workflows more efficient, faster, and less manual.
Develop, implement, and maintain automation solutions using Python, scripting, and application development tools to support various business units.
Design and build interfaces and integrations between ERP, DMS, CRM, and other enterprise systems to ensure smooth data flow and process coordination.
Conceive and realize digital workflows utilizing the Microsoft Power Platform, especially Power Automate and Power Apps, as well as custom scripting solutions.
Explore and apply AI technologies, including Large Language Models, to improve process quality, efficiency, and user experience.
Gather requirements from different departments, develop tailored technical solutions, and oversee their implementation, documentation, and ongoing maintenance.
Participate actively in digital transformation projects, bringing technical expertise from concept to practical application, and contributing innovative ideas to enhance company operations.
