Role Description This full-time, on-site Fashion Designer role is based in Lucknow. The Fashion Designer will create and develop suit designs, including sketches, patterns, and detailed specifications aligned with the brand’s aesthetic and quality standards. Responsibilities include selecting fabrics and textiles, collaborating with tailors on fittings and adjustments, and incorporating embroidery and detailing to enhance each design. The role also involves working closely with clients to understand their preferences, ensuring garments are well balanced and perfectly fitted, and coordinating with production teams to maintain timelines and craftsmanship. The Fashion Designer will participate in collection planning, trend research, and quality checks to support continuous improvement in design and construction.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Fashion Design and Fashion, with the ability to create tailored, client-focused garments.
Hands-on expertise in Fitting, ensuring precise measurements and adjustments for custom-made suits.
Knowledge of Textiles, including fabric selection, drape, texture, and durability for high-quality tailoring.
Proficiency in Embroidery and decorative techniques to enhance the design and finish of garments.
Experience working with specialist tailors or in bespoke/custom tailoring environments is highly beneficial.
Ability to translate client requirements into clear design concepts and technical instructions.
Strong attention to detail, craftsmanship-focused mindset, and commitment to quality standards.
Relevant diploma or degree in Fashion Design or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
