Job Description:
Job Summary
The Cement Bulk Plant Hand assists with the daily bulk plant operations, monitors yard and performs general housekeeping duties.
Responsibilities:
Assist with daily bulk plant operations Operate forklift to scale out products, load hopper, and load or unload pallets (when applicable)
Monitor yard and perform general housekeeping duties Wear full face respirator
Maintain compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies by attending all required HSE training sessions, safety meetings, and always utilize proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Additional duties as assigned by manager
Qualifications:
Clear written and verbal communication skills, must be able to read and follow directions in English
Forklift operator certified preferred
Knowledge of safe hand tool use Personable, able to communicate with teammates and supervisors
Able to safely perform duties during a 12+ hour work shift that will include days or nights, weekends, holidays, and in extreme weather conditions
Must be physically able to bend, stoop, kneel, twist, crawl, walk on uneven surfaces, and climb equipment ladders or stairs throughout the work shift
Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods Able to lift 50 LBS safely Able to lift 25 LBS over your head
