Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Watchout programmer role based in Delhi, India. The Watchout programmer will configure, program, and operate Dataton Watchout systems for live events, ensuring seamless playback of video content across LED walls and projection setups. Responsibilities include preparing show files, integrating multiple media formats, coordinating with video, lighting, and sound teams, and performing testing and technical checks before events. The role involves troubleshooting system issues in real time, optimizing performance, and maintaining accurate documentation for each project. The Watchout programmer will also support equipment setup, participate in rehearsals, and collaborate closely with project managers and clients to deliver high-quality visual experiences.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science concepts and problem-solving skills.
Experience with Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) for show control and automation.
Background in Software Development or Back-End Web Development for system integration and workflow optimization.
Hands-on experience with Dataton Watchout or similar media servers, projection mapping, and multi-display setups.
Familiarity with AV systems, including LED video walls, projectors, signal routing, and show control hardware.
Ability to work on-site at events, including occasional extended hours, with strong attention to detail and reliability.
Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with technical crews and clients under time-sensitive conditions.
Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Multimedia, or a related field is preferred; relevant practical experience is highly valued.
