Role Description The Vice President of Infrastructure Operations is a full-time, remote leadership role responsible for overseeing the design, stability, security, and scalability of enterprise infrastructure supporting ServiceNow and related platforms. This role leads infrastructure teams, sets operational standards, and ensures reliable delivery of services across cloud and on-premises environments. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining and executing infrastructure and IT operations strategy, managing incident and problem resolution, optimizing performance and capacity, and ensuring robust disaster recovery and business continuity plans. The Vice President collaborates with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to align infrastructure initiatives with business goals, drive modernization efforts, and uphold strong governance and compliance practices. The role also oversees vendor relationships, budget management, and continuous improvement of infrastructure operations processes and tools.
Qualifications
Strong infrastructure leadership experience, including responsibility for enterprise-scale environments, data centers, cloud platforms, and systems administration.
Proficiency in IT strategy and governance, with a track record of aligning infrastructure roadmaps with business objectives and overseeing long-term technology planning.
Demonstrated project management skills to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives, manage timelines and budgets, and deliver outcomes in dynamic environments.
Expertise in network security, including risk management, security architecture, compliance frameworks, and implementation of secure network and access controls.
Hands-on experience with IT service management practices (e.g., ITIL), including incident, problem, change, and configuration management in high-availability environments.
Proven executive-level communication skills, with the ability to present technical topics to non-technical stakeholders and influence strategic decisions.
Background in ServiceNow or similar enterprise platforms is highly beneficial, particularly in operational support, performance optimization, and integration.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, CISSP, PMP, cloud certifications) are an asset.
