POSITION OVERVIEW
The Senior IT Virtual Assistant Technologist sits within the Enterprise IT & Automation Division, reporting to the IT Technologist Stakeholders and Product Leadership. This professional solves complex enterprise communication and automation challenges by designing, building, and maintaining secure, scalable conversational AI solutions across Global Manufacturing Tenants. By engineering robust middleware, front-end chat interfaces, and cloud-native backend infrastructure, this role drives seamless digital interactions and operational efficiency across the enterprise.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design, build, and deploy intelligent conversational flows and virtual assistants using Teneo.AI (Teneo Studio/Engine) or comparable platforms such as Dialogflow, Rasa, or Amazon Lex.
• Develop and maintain middleware components and front-end Web Chat widgets utilizing Node.js, TypeScript, Vue.js, and Socket.IO.
• Architect and manage cloud-native AWS infrastructure using ECS, Fargate, RDS PostgreSQL, S3, CloudFront, and CloudFormation scripts.
• Integrate virtual assistants with enterprise applications, Azure AI Services, and Large Language Models (LLMs) via RESTful APIs.
• Monitor platform performance and health, troubleshoot complex system errors, and collaborate with network teams on DNS and F5 load balancing configurations.
