Role Description The Senior Network Security Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Agra, responsible for designing, implementing, and securing enterprise network environments. Day-to-day work includes configuring and managing routing, switching, wireless, and firewall solutions, as well as hardening network infrastructure to protect against internal and external threats. The role involves conducting security assessments, monitoring network and security events, responding to incidents, and coordinating remediation activities. The engineer collaborates with architects, system integrators, and customers to translate business requirements into secure network designs, prepares technical documentation, and supports deployments and upgrades. The position also includes mentoring junior team members, optimizing network performance, and ensuring compliance with security standards and best practices.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Network Engineering and Network Administration for designing, deploying, and managing complex enterprise networks.
Candidates should possess advanced Network Security and Cybersecurity skills for securing infrastructures, managing firewalls, and handling security incidents.
Candidates should possess solid Information Security knowledge, including security frameworks, policies, risk management, and compliance practices.
Relevant certifications such as CCNP/CCIE, NSE, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are highly beneficial.
Experience with enterprise routing/switching platforms, firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and security monitoring tools is preferred.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
