Advertised compensation: US$75-US$110 per hour
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
HumanitApp is supporting recruitment for a Cloud / DevOps Engineer engagement focused on improving AI systems' understanding of production cloud infrastructure. The successful candidate will hold a W-2 employment position with Cincinnatus LLC, with the opportunity to work within a leading AI lab's extended workforce. This is not employment by HumanitApp. Final compensation and employment terms are determined by the employer.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design realistic engineering tasks and well-structured solutions involving Kubernetes diagnosis, AWS integration and infrastructure automation.
- Evaluate infrastructure tasks and solutions, providing precise written technical feedback.
- Develop guidelines and evaluation rubrics for cluster failure diagnosis, Infrastructure-as-Code quality and CI/CD reasoning.
- Work with research teams and infrastructure specialists to improve technical accuracy and consistency.
REQUIREMENTS
- At least four years of dedicated professional experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, site reliability or platform engineering, with demonstrable career progression.
- Production Kubernetes operations experience, including diagnosing and repairing cluster failures.
- Hands-on Infrastructure-as-Code experience with Terraform and/or AWS CDK.
- Production integration experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway and DynamoDB.
- Experience building and owning CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to work reliably for 40 hours per week during weekdays and explain complex technical decisions clearly in writing.
- Based in the United States and able to meet the employer's work-authorization requirements.
