Role Description The Business Development Manager role at Skillofy_AI is a full-time remote position responsible for driving growth across individual, institutional, and corporate segments. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and qualifying new leads, managing the sales pipeline, and developing strategic partnerships with universities, training partners, and enterprise clients. The role involves conducting discovery calls, presenting Skillofy_AI programs and AI solutions, preparing proposals, and negotiating commercial terms to close deals. The Business Development Manager will collaborate with marketing, product, and academic teams to refine go-to-market strategies, align offerings with client needs, and support revenue forecasts and reporting. The role also includes tracking market trends, contributing to new initiatives, and maintaining long-term relationships to maximize client satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications
Proven experience in business development, sales, or partnerships, ideally in edtech, SaaS, or technology-driven services.
Strong skills in lead generation, pipeline management, and deal closing, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders across geographies.
Ability to understand and articulate both technical and non-technical learning solutions, including AI-powered offerings and career-focused programs.
Experience building and managing relationships with corporate clients, universities, training partners, or channel partners.
Comfort working in a remote, fast-paced environment, with strong self-management, planning, and time-management capabilities.
Analytical mindset with skills in using CRM tools, sales metrics, and market research to inform strategy and decision-making.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.
