Sales Development Representative (SDR)

ABOUT THE ROLE
Join a small sales team at an AI recruiting technology startup and help introduce its recruiting services to startup founders and hiring leaders. Your outreach will start conversations with potential clients and create qualified opportunities for the sales team.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Make high-volume cold calls, send emails and LinkedIn messages, and follow up with prospects.
- Use prospect lists and outreach sequences to maintain consistent activity and book qualified meetings.
- Qualify prospects by learning about their hiring needs, timelines, and decision-makers.
- Record outreach activity, call outcomes, and follow-up details in a CRM.
- Handle common sales objections and follow through on commitments.
- Use feedback and sales tools, including dialers and AI-assisted outreach platforms, to improve your approach.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Experience in an SDR, BDR, appointment-setting, recruiting sales, inside sales, or another high-volume customer-facing role; no specific number of years is stated.
- Experience making cold calls and booking meetings, running email or LinkedIn sequences, and sustaining outreach over multiple weeks.
- Comfort using a CRM to track activity and prospect follow-ups.
- Clear communication, consistent follow-through, and openness to coaching.
- Recruiting, staffing, or talent acquisition sales experience is helpful, as is experience in retail, restaurants, call centers, door-to-door sales, or competitive sports.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base salary is $60,000 to $70,000 annually, with $85,000 to $105,000 OTE (on-target earnings, base plus variable). Commission is uncapped. Visa sponsorship is available.
LOCATION
Remote within the United States after in-person onboarding in Salt Lake City, Utah.
