Sales Development Representative, Early Career

ABOUT THE ROLE
Join the sales team at a pre-seed AI recruiting technology startup and help introduce its recruiting services to startups and growing businesses. You will create new client opportunities through outbound outreach and book qualified meetings for the sales team.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Make outbound calls to founders, hiring leaders, and other prospective clients.
- Send emails and professional networking messages, and follow up using outreach sequences.
- Qualify prospects by learning about their hiring needs and book relevant sales meetings.
- Use prospect lists, CRM tools, sales dialers, and AI tools to organize and support outreach.
- Review outreach results and apply feedback to improve conversations and meeting outcomes.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Experience in a customer-facing role with a high volume of daily conversations, or early-career experience in customer-facing work.
- Background in outbound sales, such as SDR, BDR, appointment setting, inside sales, staffing sales, or a comparable role; experience with SMB, mid-market, or startup buyers is helpful.
- Comfort using CRMs, sales dialers, and outreach sequences; familiarity with AI tools or automation in sales workflows is a plus.
- Currently based in the United States and located in the Salt Lake City area or willing to relocate. This is an individual contributor role for someone early in their sales career.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base salary is $60,000 to $70,000 annually, with $85,000 to $105,000 OTE (on-target earnings, base plus variable). Commission is uncapped. Visa sponsorship is not available.
LOCATION
Hybrid role based in Salt Lake City, Utah.
