Junior DevOps Engineer

High Five is on behalf of the client is the Global Technology Ecosystem for Hotels, focused on revolutionizing the archaic, legacy technologies that have plagued our industry for decades, as well as introducing deepAI-focused features to enhance daily operations and the Guest experience.Our team includes Founders and Executives from many of the world’s most iconic brands, including Ritz Carlton, Four Seasons and InterContinental. Responsibilities
Support the day-to-day operation and monitoring of our multi-region AWS infrastructure
Help maintain and improve our CI/CD, testing, and deployment pipelines
Assist with updates to our multi-tenant deployment tooling
Write scripts and automation to reduce manual, repetitive work
Respond to alerts, investigate issues, and escalate appropriately
Support QA engineers with test environments and test data
Help maintain dashboards, logging, and alerting in our observability tools
Keep runbooks and infrastructure documentation clear and up to date
Follow and help strengthen our security and SOC2 practices
Bring ideas for improvement and keep learning new tools and techniques
Qualifications
Hands-on experience with AWS (professional, internship, academic, or substantial personal projects)
Working knowledge of Linux and the command line
Scripting experience in Bash, Python, or similar
Comfort with Git and modern development workflows
Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
Basic understanding of networking, security, and cloud fundamentals
