Senior Director Information Technology

Role Description The Senior Director Information Technology will provide strategic leadership for all IT functions, ensuring technology initiatives align with organizational goals and industry best practices. This part-time remote role includes overseeing IT operations, defining and implementing IT strategies, and guiding digital transformation efforts across multiple business units. The role involves directing network security and infrastructure management, establishing policies and standards, and ensuring system reliability, scalability, and compliance. The Senior Director will collaborate with executive leadership, manage vendor relationships, and mentor IT teams to drive innovation, efficiency, and risk mitigation. Regular responsibilities include reviewing performance metrics, prioritizing projects, and making data-driven decisions to support organizational growth.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in IT Management and IT Operations, with experience leading cross-functional technology teams and initiatives.
Candidates should possess deep knowledge of Information Technology environments, including enterprise systems, cloud solutions, and emerging technologies.
Candidates should possess expertise in IT Strategy, with a track record of developing and executing long-term technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
Candidates should possess solid capabilities in Network Security, including risk assessment, security architecture, and compliance with relevant standards.
Advanced leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
Experience in remote and distributed team management, with strong organizational and decision-making abilities.
Proven background in digital transformation, enterprise architecture, and governance frameworks.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; an advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, ITIL, PMP) are beneficial.
