Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Store Assistant role based in Rajkot. The Store Assistant will handle day-to-day store operations, including receiving, checking, and stocking materials and parts used in manufacturing and projects. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate inventory records, organizing storage areas, and ensuring timely issue and return of materials to internal departments. The role involves coordinating with procurement and production teams, preparing basic documentation (such as goods receipt notes and stock reports), and supporting periodic stock audits. The Store Assistant will also assist visitors or internal stakeholders at the store, follow safety and quality guidelines, and help maintain a clean, orderly, and efficient store environment.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills for interacting with internal teams and vendors.
Candidates should possess Retail Sales and basic store operation skills for handling materials, stock movement, and item dispatch.
Candidates should possess Organization skills for managing inventory, documentation, and orderly storage of materials.
Candidates should possess Training capability to learn and follow store procedures and support onboarding of new team members.
Basic knowledge of inventory management or storekeeping in a manufacturing or industrial setting is beneficial.
Ability to use basic computer applications (e.g., MS Excel, inventory software) and maintain accurate records is preferred.
Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work collaboratively with production and logistics teams are important.
A minimum of a high school or equivalent education; a diploma in storekeeping, logistics, or a related field is an advantage.
