About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our Infra Team at LiveEO. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the integrity, reliability, scalability, security, and cost-efficiency of our cloud infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with product-focused teams and support company-wide initiatives to optimize our cloud environment. Your expertise will help design, implement, and improve infrastructure solutions using modern cloud-native tools and practices. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology, contribute to the development of scalable and secure infrastructure, and support the growth of a market-leading satellite analytics company.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in designing, building, and maintaining scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure. Deep knowledge of Kubernetes and Amazon EKS, including hands-on experience with Helm and ArgoCD in production environments, is essential. Proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code principles is required, along with strong skills in building and debugging CI/CD pipelines. Candidates should have a solid foundation in Linux, bash scripting, and Python programming. An in-depth understanding of AWS services and networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, DNS, subnets, routing, and firewalls is crucial. Familiarity with relational databases like PostgreSQL, observability tools (e.g., DataDog, Coralogix), and security standards such as SOC2 and ISO27001 is advantageous. Certifications in AWS and Terraform, as well as experience with Ansible, are considered a plus. Additionally, knowledge of distributed processing frameworks, AI infrastructure, and agent platforms will be beneficial.
Responsibilities
Design and implement modern, scalable infrastructure solutions on AWS utilizing Terraform, Kubernetes (Amazon EKS), ArgoCD, KEDA, and Karpenter to build robust cloud-native platforms. Maintain and optimize internal CI/CD pipelines to automate and enhance the entire product lifecycle. Collaborate with product and engineering teams to transition prototypes into reliable production services, ensuring seamless deployment and operational stability. Support and empower internal users by providing expert technical guidance, troubleshooting, and best practices to maximize infrastructure efficiency. Drive innovation by delivering reliable and scalable infrastructure services that support the company's product lines and enable cutting-edge capabilities. Document architectural decisions, operational procedures, and reusable patterns to facilitate knowledge sharing and continuous improvement. Work on company-wide infrastructure challenges such as networking, logging, database performance, and security, ensuring best practices are followed across environments. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve LiveEO’s infrastructure landscape.
