About The Role
We are seeking an intermediate level .NET Developer to join our dynamic team in Jackson, MS. This role offers an exciting opportunity to participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, implementation, training, and ongoing maintenance. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop robust, scalable applications that meet client specifications and industry standards. This position requires a detail-oriented professional capable of managing multiple projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality deliverables. Qualifications
The successful candidate will demonstrate a solid foundation in Microsoft .NET technologies and possess relevant experience in application development. Key qualifications include proficiency in verbal and written English communication, strong customer service orientation, and effective time management skills. Experience in IT project management, including developing and tracking project work plans, is essential. Candidates should have the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, solve technical problems creatively, and develop innovative solutions. Prior experience in developing and maintaining documentation for procedures and processes is highly desirable. Knowledge of payment applications, licensing and permitting systems, data migration, and Crystal Reports Designer will be considered a plus. A background in ADA Title II compliance and experience working in public-facing environments are advantageous. Candidates should hold a relevant degree or equivalent work experience in software development or related fields.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for participating in all stages of the software development lifecycle, including gathering requirements, designing solutions, coding, testing, and deploying applications. You will collaborate closely with project managers, business analysts, and other developers to ensure project objectives are met within established timelines. Developing and maintaining technical documentation for procedures, processes, and user guides will be part of your duties. You will troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly, providing ongoing support and maintenance for existing applications. Mentoring junior team members and sharing best practices to improve team performance will also be expected. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of payment and licensing applications, assist with data conversions and migrations, and support compliance with ADA Title II standards. Your proactive communication and problem-solving skills will be critical in delivering high-quality solutions that align with client needs and organizational goals.
