Full-Stack Product Builder

Salary: LKR 80,000–200,000 per month
About the Role
UVAVEC is building an internal technology team to develop high-quality digital products that solve real business problems.
We’re looking for a Full-Stack Product Builder who can take an idea, prototype, or rough business requirement and turn it into a reliable, production-ready application. We value people who think independently, make sound technical decisions, and take ownership of the entire development process—not just those who write code to specifications.
What You’ll Do
Build and maintain modern web applications across frontend and backend.
Translate business problems and prototypes into practical technical solutions.
Make decisions around architecture, databases, APIs, authentication, and integrations.
Develop, test, deploy, debug, and improve production applications.
Integrate third-party services and AI capabilities where appropriate.
Collaborate with product leadership, UI/UX designers, and other developers.
Support junior developers and interns through technical guidance and code reviews.
What We’re Looking For
Strong hands-on experience with React and/or Next.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Node.js.
Working knowledge of PostgreSQL or another relational database.
Experience with REST APIs, Git/GitHub, and production deployment.
Ability to work independently with incomplete requirements and make informed technical decisions.
Evidence of real projects you have personally contributed to and shipped.
A practical mindset focused on usability, security, maintainability, and solving the right problem.
Experience & Education
Typically 3+ years of professional experience; candidates with 2+ years and strong end-to-end production experience are welcome to apply.
A degree, HND, diploma, or relevant technical qualification is preferred. Equivalent practical experience is also accepted.

Location & Work Arrangement
Applicants must be based in Sri Lanka. The role is mostly remote, with occasional in-person meetings or workshops with reasonable advance notice.
