Job Brief:- AU Small Finance Bank Limited is seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to join our Sales department as a Senior Relationship Officer specializing in Gold Loan products. This role demands a strategic individual who can manage and expand the bank's gold loan portfolio by building strong client relationships, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and driving business growth. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the financial services industry, particularly in secured lending, and possess the ability to assess risk, negotiate terms, and deliver exceptional customer service while aligning with the bank's objectives and values.
Responsibilities:-
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to promote gold loan products and services.
Conduct thorough credit appraisals and risk assessments of gold loan applications in compliance with the bank’s policies and regulatory guidelines.
Manage the end-to-end gold loan process including documentation, valuation of gold assets, sanctioning, and disbursement.
Collaborate with internal teams such as credit, legal, and operations to ensure smooth processing and timely resolution of client queries.
Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets by identifying new business opportunities and cross-selling other financial products.
Monitor and manage the quality of the gold loan portfolio to minimize non-performing assets and ensure timely recovery.
Provide training and guidance to junior relationship officers and sales staff to enhance team performance and product knowledge.
Stay updated with market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting gold loan products to advise clients effectively.
Prepare detailed reports on sales performance, client feedback, and market insights for senior management review.
Ensure adherence to all compliance, audit, and risk management protocols related to gold loan operations.
