Role Description The Executive Vice President of Projects is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading Wind Creek Aruba’s strategic project portfolio from concept through successful completion. This role oversees large-scale initiatives, including property enhancements, operational improvements, and technology implementations, ensuring alignment with business goals, Guest experience standards, and brand values. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining project vision and roadmap, setting priorities, and providing direction to project managers and cross-functional teams across operations, finance, marketing, and IT. The Executive Vice President of Projects will establish governance frameworks, manage budgets and timelines, and monitor risks and dependencies to keep programs on track. This position also collaborates closely with senior leadership to evaluate new opportunities, drive continuous improvement, and communicate project status and outcomes to stakeholders.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in executive-level project and program leadership, including managing complex, multi-site or international initiatives.
Strong strategic planning and portfolio management capabilities, with a track record of aligning projects to organizational goals and Guest experience standards.
Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools (e.g., PMO leadership, agile or hybrid approaches, resource and budget management).
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with senior executives, cross-functional teams, and external partners.
Background in hospitality, gaming, entertainment, or related industries is highly beneficial.
Ability to lead remote teams, foster an inclusive culture, and drive accountability and performance across diverse locations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience with data-driven decision-making and performance metrics.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred.
Proven ability to uphold and promote company values centered on integrity, excellence, and creating a positive, engaging environment for Guests and Team Members.
