Role Description The Vice President of Finance is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing the financial strategy and performance of Wind Creek Aruba. This role leads financial planning and budgeting processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and long-term growth objectives. The Vice President of Finance directs the preparation, analysis, and presentation of financial statements and reporting to senior leadership, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing cash flow, assessing financial risks, establishing internal controls, and optimizing financial systems and processes. The role collaborates closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to support strategic decision-making, maintain compliance with applicable regulations, and uphold Wind Creek’s values in all financial operations.
Qualifications
Strong Finance foundation, including experience in corporate finance and strategic financial management.
Proficiency in Financial Planning and budgeting, with a track record of developing and executing long-term financial strategies.
Expertise in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, including preparing, analyzing, and interpreting complex financial data.
Advanced Analytical Skills, with the ability to translate financial insights into actionable recommendations.
Proven leadership experience in senior finance roles, ideally at the VP or equivalent level.
Experience with hospitality, gaming, or related industries is highly beneficial.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with executive and non-financial stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to manage remote teams and work effectively in a distributed environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or similar) or professional certification (CPA, CFA) is preferred.
