The team works closely with customers, OEMs, partners, and sales teams to design and deliver enterprise-grade backup and recovery solutions that protect critical business data.
Key Purpose of the Job
To provide both presales and post-sales expertise for backup, data protection, disaster recovery, and cyber recovery solutions. The role involves solution design, technical consulting, implementation, and customer enablement across leading backup platforms such as Veeam, Veritas, Commvault, and Rubrik.
Who We’re Looking For
A highly motivated Backup & Data Protection Consultant with 3+ years of experience in enterprise backup technologies. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in backup, recovery, cloud data protection, virtualization, and cyber resilience solutions, along with excellent customer-facing skills.
Your RolePresales Responsibilities
Conduct customer discovery sessions and requirement gathering.
Deliver technical presentations, solution demonstrations, and Proof of Concepts (POCs).
Design backup, replication, disaster recovery, immutable backup, and cyber recovery architectures.
Perform solution sizing, capacity planning, and BOM preparation.
Create High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs), and technical proposals.
Collaborate with sales teams, OEMs, and partners to support opportunity closure.
Postsales Responsibilities
Deploy, configure, and optimize backup and recovery solutions.
Implement Veeam, Veritas, Commvault, Rubrik, and related backup platforms.
Support backup environments across virtual, physical, cloud, and hybrid infrastructures.
Execute migration, upgrade, and disaster recovery projects.
Prepare implementation, migration, and handover documentation.
Provide troubleshooting and technical support during project execution.

Experience in both solution design (presales) and implementation (postsales) environments preferred.
