About the role

Director of Product, Wellness Education (Confidential)
Remote (US), East Coast preferred
Beacon Talent is partnering with a well-established, mission-driven wellness education company to hire its next Director of Product. The brand is widely recognized and has a large, engaged alumni community, but the corporate team is lean and entrepreneurial, so you get real ownership and direct impact.
This role reports to the CEO and joins a newly built leadership team with an active growth agenda: new courses and adjacencies, a subscription membership, and a possible expansion into corporate learning. The company has a deep bench of subject-matter expertise. What it needs now is a product leader to make it product-led.
What you’ll do
Own strategy, roadmap and performance across a portfolio of online courses, certification programs and a membership offering, and report results to the CEO and leadership team.
Manage the product budget and program P&Ls, and find efficiencies without compromising learning quality or compliance.
Lead and coach three direct reports across curriculum, product operations and a live coaching team, and run them as one integrated function.
Use AI tools hands-on to systemize course development and operations so a small team can operate at scale.
Turn learner feedback, platform analytics and market research into roadmap decisions, working with the technology team on the learning platform.
Partner with marketing on positioning, packaging and launches, and co-host regular live webinars.
Drive accreditation and education partnership strategy.
What you bring
8+ years in product management or strategy, including leading people managers.
Experience leading a content-heavy education product (courses, certifications, cohort or live learning) at a consumer edtech or wellness education business.
A track record of launching new programs from 0 to 1 and improving existing ones.
Budget ownership and experience reporting to C-suite leadership.
Specific AI-driven workflows and operating systems you’ve built yourself.
A player-coach mindset: you set strategy and are comfortable working in the details.
Nice to have
Background in health, nutrition, wellness, or accredited and certification-based education.
Experience with coach-delivered programs, subscriptions or memberships, or corporate learning.
