Vice President of Portfolio Management

Role Description
The Vice President of Portfolio Management is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing and optimizing a portfolio of early-stage startup engagements. This role includes managing and tracking portfolio performance, analyzing sales and financial metrics, and identifying opportunities to improve outcomes across client companies. The VP will collaborate with founders and internal advisors to design portfolio-level strategies, allocate resources, and prioritize initiatives that drive revenue growth and value creation. Day-to-day activities involve conducting portfolio reviews, preparing reports and recommendations, developing portfolio frameworks and best practices, and supporting investment and advisory decisions with clear, data-backed insights. The role also includes cross-functional coordination, risk assessment, and continuous refinement of portfolio management processes in line with Golden.vc’s strategic objectives.
Qualifications
Strong Investments and Finance skills, with experience evaluating early-stage companies and understanding venture or growth-stage economics.
Demonstrated Portfolio Management capabilities, including designing frameworks, monitoring performance, and driving portfolio-level strategy.
Asset Management and risk assessment skills, with the ability to balance growth potential and risk across multiple client or investment relationships.
Advanced Analytical Skills, including proficiency with data analysis tools, dashboards, and performance metrics relevant to sales and financial outcomes.
Proven experience in startup, venture capital, private equity, or strategic consulting environments.
Ability to work effectively in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate across time zones.
