Kitchen Hand | odd saint ( weekend position)

We’re looking for an experienced Kitchen Hand to join the team at odd saint, our busy all-day eatery in the heart of Queenstown.
This is a weekend role, working Saturdays and Sundays from 7:30am–3:30pm. Perfect for someone looking for consistent daytime hours in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
About the role
odd saint gets busy, particularly over the weekends, so we’re looking for someone who can keep pace and help keep the kitchen running smoothly.
You’ll be responsible for:
Keeping on top of dishes, pots, pans and kitchen equipment
Maintaining a clean, organised kitchen and wash-up area
Supporting the chefs with basic food prep when needed
Restocking and keeping work areas ready for service
Managing rubbish and recycling
Following food safety and hygiene standards
Jumping in and supporting the wider kitchen team during busy service
About you
We’re looking for someone who:
Has previous Kitchen Hand experience in a busy café, restaurant or similar environment
Is comfortable working at pace during high-volume service
Is reliable, organised and happy to get stuck in
Works well as part of a kitchen team
Can commit to both Saturday and Sunday shifts
Is comfortable being on their feet and working a physical shift
