Performance Marketer, Paid Growth (Consumer Apps)

ABOUT THE ROLE
Own paid acquisition for a consumer apps startup, starting with a couples app preparing for a major app launch campaign. You will manage growth end to end across this app and future products, with Meta as the primary channel and TikTok as a secondary channel.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Manage campaigns in Meta Ads Manager and TikTok, including audiences, offers, budgets, and decisions to pause or scale.
- Turn user-generated content into ads, brief creators, and produce a high volume of creative variants each week, using AI tools where helpful.
- Track performance beyond the click using AppsFlyer, SKAdNetwork, and PostHog, optimizing for cost per install and cost per activated couple.
- Assess each test within 24 to 48 hours and share a weekly performance report.
- Work toward a target of about $2 cost per install at scale for the November campaign.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- About 1 to 5 years of experience, with hands-on paid acquisition experience for consumer apps or app-install campaigns.
- Direct experience managing real budgets in Meta Ads Manager or TikTok Ads, and the ability to demonstrate campaign work.
- Strong ad writing skills, including creating hooks and copy, plus experience running frequent creative tests and briefing creators.
- Comfort with mobile attribution and performance analysis, including CPI and downstream activation metrics.
- Familiarity with AppsFlyer, SKAdNetwork, PostHog, SQL, or the Ads API.
- Experience building or growing a project of your own is a plus.
LOCATION
On-site in San Francisco, California, or remote within the United States. Palo Alto is also listed as an available location.
