Solutions Development Analyst

This role involves working with the organization's proprietary analytics and business intelligence product to develop visibility solutions for client projects and contribute to the development and enhancement of the product itself. Candidates will be expected to learn and work primarily with the product; it is not a role focused on building solutions exclusively in Tableau or Power BI.
Experience with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI, along with SQL and an understanding of data and analytics, provides the foundation to learn the product quickly and apply those skills to client solution development and product feature development.
Overall experience
2-6 years of work experience at leading analytics and business intelligence companies
Extensive experience in Developing Visibility Solutions using tools like Tableau, QlikView, QlikSense, Power BI, MicroStrategy, etc.
Working knowledge of Data processing/ ETL tools (SAS, SQL, Alteryx, Python, Informatica) is good to have
This position requires working in a R&D set-up to develop innovative visibility solutions
Key responsibilities
Lead and contribute to end-to-end development and delivery of Essex’s proprietary analytics and business intelligence product -based visibility solutions for client projects, including requirements analysis, configuration, validation, and issue resolution.
Contribute to product feature development and enhancement, collaborating with product, engineering, and solution teams.
Support knowledge transfer and guide junior team members in solution development and delivery.
Directly engage with internal and external stakeholders, gather requirements, and manage communication
Excellent problem-solving skillsets with the ability to interpret business requirements and translate into actionable insights.
Working knowledge with BI tools such as Tableau, QlikView or Power BI (All or any)
Will learn and deliver BI solutions using the organization’s proprietary analytics and business intelligence product.
Ability to set up BAU activities to end execution of any Visibility solution.
Able to conduct strong quality control analyses to ensure data quality and integrity
Key Skills
Working knowledge of SQL for querying, understanding and validating data.
Strong problem-solving skills
Strong hands-on experience in developing BI Solutions using tools like Tableau, QlikView, Power BI, MicroStrategy etc.
Exposure to data processing using SAS/R/Python/Alteryx/RapidMiner etc. is a plus.
Good working knowledge of MS Excel
Excellent communication skills (Written/Verbal)
Self-starter with a zeal for innovation and excellence in Client delivery
Ability to work under tight timelines and handle project pressure
Mentor and coach junior team members
