Role Description The Autocad Designer (Solar Industry - Immediate Joiners) will work on-site in Jaipur in a full-time capacity, supporting the design and layout of solar power systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and modifying AutoCAD drawings for rooftop and ground-mounted solar installations, preparing detailed layout plans, and ensuring designs comply with technical specifications and local regulations. The role involves coordinating with engineers and project managers to gather requirements, incorporating structural and electrical inputs into drawings, and updating designs based on review feedback. The designer will maintain organized drawing records, support documentation for proposals and installations, and assist in optimizing system designs for efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness. Immediate availability is preferred, and the role may include occasional site visits to verify measurements and design feasibility.
Qualifications
Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software for 2D and basic 3D design, with experience preparing technical drawings and layouts for engineering projects.
Understanding of solar system components and layouts (e.g., PV modules, mounting structures, cable routing, inverters) and ability to interpret engineering and electrical drawings.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy in measurements, and ability to follow design standards, codes, and safety guidelines relevant to solar installations.
Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with engineers, project managers, and on-site teams, including clarity in documenting and updating design changes.
Relevant technical education such as a diploma or degree in engineering, architecture, or a related field; prior experience in the solar industry or construction design is an advantage.
Ability to work on-site in Jaipur on a full-time schedule, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
