Qualifications
Strong attention to detail and visual assessment skills for evaluating jewellery quality and characteristics.
Basic knowledge of gemstones, precious metals, and jewellery design, with formal training in gemology or jewellery grading preferred.
Ability to follow structured grading standards, maintain accurate documentation, and use relevant tools and equipment safely.
Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams and client representatives.
Comfort with using computers and common office software; experience with inventory or grading systems is an advantage.
Integrity and reliability in handling valuable items, with a strong sense of responsibility and confidentiality.
Prior experience in jewellery grading, retail jewellery, or a related quality control role is beneficial.
Relevant diploma or certification in gemology, jewellery design, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
