Accounting Lead - Australian Accounting

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Lead with hands-on experience in Australian Bookkeeping and Accounting. The candidate will be responsible for managing accounting deliverables, finalizing financial statements, reviewing tax returns, and ensuring accuracy and compliance with Australian accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities
Handle end-to-end Australian bookkeeping processes
Finalize financial statements and reports
Review and check BAS, IAS, and tax returns
Ensure timely completion of accounting deliverables
Manage reconciliations, payroll, and reporting activities
Coordinate with internal teams and clients for accounting requirements
Maintain accuracy and compliance with Australian accounting standards and tax regulations
Review work completed by junior accountants/bookkeepers
Identify process improvements and maintain quality standards
Requirements
2–4 years of experience in Australian Bookkeeping/Accounting
Strong understanding of Australian accounting and taxation
Experience with BAS, GST, payroll, and financial finalization
Knowledge of accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks
Good communication and team handling skills
Strong attention to detail and deadline management
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience working with Australian clients
Ability to independently manage accounting deliverables
Leadership mindset with problem-solving skills
What We Offer
Salary between ₹35K – ₹55K per month depending on experience and expertise.
