Job Description - Finance Manager.
Industry: Garments Manufacturing

Budget: Upto 5lpa only
Reporting To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead the finance function of our garments manufacturing operations. This role will directly report to the CEO and oversee the existing senior accounting team member. The Finance Manager will be responsible for driving financial strategy, ensuring compliance, and supporting operational efficiency across the organization.
Responsibilities:
● Leadership & Team Management
● Supervise and mentor the senior accounting executive and other finance staff.
● Build a strong finance team culture focused on accuracy, accountability, and efficiency.
● Financial Planning & Analysis
● Develop annual budgets, forecasts, and financial models aligned with production cycles.
● Monitor variances and provide actionable insights to the CEO and management team.
● Cost & Inventory Management
● Oversee costing of raw materials, labor, and overheads specific to garment production.
● Implement controls for inventory valuation and wastage reduction.
● Accounting & Compliance
● Ensure accurate financial records in line with statutory requirements.
● Manage audits, tax filings, and compliance with local regulations.
● Cash Flow & Treasury
● Monitor working capital, vendor payments, and receivables.
● Optimize cash flow to support production schedules and expansion plans.
● Cross-Functional Collaboration
● Partner with operations, procurement, and sales teams to align financial goals with business objectives.
● Provide financial insights for ERP/CRM/Inventory system integration.
● Reporting & Communication
● Prepare monthly MIS reports, dashboards, and presentations for the CEO.
● Advise leadership on financial risks and opportunities.
Qualification & Skills:
● MBA (Finance), or equivalent professional qualification.
● Minimum 5 years of experience in finance roles, preferably in manufacturing/Garments/Apparel/Fashion industry.
● Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and ERP systems.
● Proficiency in MS Excel, financial modeling, and BI tools (Zoho Analytics, Power BI, etc.).
● Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills:
● Experience in garments or apparel industry.
● Ability to streamline processes and implement financial controls.
● Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
