Python with java data pipelines/linux

focused on building and maintaining data pipelines using Python and Java in a Linux environment. The role involves designing, developing, and optimizing scalable data processing workflows that support business analytics and application needs. Daily responsibilities include writing clean, efficient code, integrating data from multiple sources, implementing error handling and monitoring, and ensuring data quality and performance. The team member will collaborate with software engineers, data engineers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions, contribute to microservices-based architectures, and participate in code reviews and system design discussions. The role also includes maintaining documentation, following best practices for security and reliability, and supporting production deployments and troubleshooting.
Qualifications
Strong programming skills with experience in Python and Java, including writing, testing, and maintaining production-ready code.
Proficiency in software development concepts, including Software Development, Programming fundamentals, and use of Design Patterns.
Hands-on experience with Jakarta EE or similar Java frameworks for building robust services and enterprise applications.
Knowledge of Microservices architectures, including designing, deploying, and integrating modular services.
Comfort working in Linux environments, including scripting, process management, and basic system troubleshooting.
Experience with data pipelines and ETL processes, including ingestion, transformation, and loading of structured and unstructured data.
Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git), CI/CD practices, and collaborative development workflows.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on performance and reliability.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a structured, on-site environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
