Havora is Looking for a Senior Product Designer
We’re not looking for someone who simply executes designs. We’re looking for someone who can shape a vision.
At Havora, we’re building a relationship platform reimagining how people find meaningful, intentional connections. We believe the future of relationships deserves a more thoughtful approach, one grounded in human psychology, compatibility, trust, and intentional design.
We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer who understands this vision and can translate it into an exceptional product experience.
Someone with strong design instincts, beautiful ideas, a deep understanding of users, and the confidence to make design decisions, take ownership, and move projects forward independently.
What You’ll Own
• Product Experience: Take ownership of designing intuitive, thoughtful, and visually compelling experiences across Havora’s mobile product.
• Design Direction: Shape Havora’s visual identity and product design language, ensuring the experience feels distinctive, premium, and cohesive.
• User Research & Psychology: Translate user needs, relationship behaviours, and emotional nuances into meaningful product experiences.
• End-to-End Design: Take ownership from early concepts and user flows through wireframes, high-fidelity UI, interactive prototypes, and developer handoff.
• Design Systems: Build and maintain scalable design systems and reusable components.
• Product Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the founders, product, and engineering teams to turn ambitious ideas into well-executed experiences.
• Creative Problem-Solving: Challenge assumptions, identify opportunities, and bring original ideas to the table while taking initiative and ownership throughout the design process.
Who We’re Looking For
• At least 6 years of professional product design experience, ideally with strong experience designing mobile-first digital products.
• A portfolio demonstrating exceptional UI/UX craft, product thinking, and the ability to solve complex problems through design.
• Someone with outstanding visual taste and the ability to create elegant, modern, premium experiences.
• A self-directed designer who takes ownership, exercises sound judgement, and can move from ambiguity to clarity.
• Someone who understands that designing Havora requires more than attractive screens; it requires understanding people, relationships, trust, and human behaviour.
• Someone who genuinely connects with Havora’s mission and wants to help shape what we’re building.
The Engagement
• Role: Senior Product Designer
• Engagement: 6-month volunteer contract
• Commitment: 15 hours per week
• Compensation: Unpaid volunteer position
This is an opportunity to take meaningful ownership of product design at an early-stage startup, collaborate closely with the founding team, and help define the experience of a product built around one of the most important parts of human life: connection.
