Chief Accounting Officer

Role Description The Chief Accounting Officer at Desarrollos Creativos will oversee all accounting and financial reporting activities for the company in a part-time, remote capacity. This role includes managing the preparation, review, and consolidation of financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal policies. The Chief Accounting Officer will coordinate budgeting and forecasting processes, monitor cash flow, and provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making. Additional responsibilities include maintaining internal controls, supervising bookkeeping practices, collaborating with external auditors or advisors, and recommending process improvements to strengthen the company’s financial operations.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of Accounting and Finance, with the ability to oversee end-to-end financial operations.
Demonstrated experience in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements and Financial Reporting.
Certified Public Accounting (CPA) or equivalent professional certification, or significant proven experience in a senior accounting role.
Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheet tools, and familiarity with relevant tax and regulatory frameworks.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage part-time hours effectively, and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience in technology, digital, or web-focused companies is a plus.
