Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for a hands-on Software Engineer with strong backend development experience in both Python and Node.js. The ideal candidate will have experience building backend services, developing REST APIs, and designing scalable software solutions. Experience with automation frameworks is also required, with a focus on improving code quality, reliability, and system performance.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain backend services and applications using Python and Node.js.
Build scalable, reliable, and high-performance backend systems and RESTful APIs.
Develop and integrate services, APIs, and application components to support product functionality.
Design and maintain automation frameworks and scripts to validate backend services and API functionality.
Troubleshoot technical issues, optimize application performance, and improve system reliability.
Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following engineering best practices.
Collaborate with frontend engineers, QA teams, and product stakeholders to deliver high-quality software.
Integrate automated tests and backend services into CI/CD pipelines.
Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills
Strong hands-on backend development experience with both Python and Node.js.
Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and backend services.
Good understanding of backend architecture, data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
Experience working with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar.
Experience developing or maintaining automation frameworks, particularly for API and backend testing.
Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and debugging tools.
Understanding of microservices, asynchronous programming, and event-driven architectures.
Strong problem-solving skills and experience building production-quality software.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working on scalable products in a product-based engineering environment.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and modern deployment practices.
Exposure to automation tools and frameworks such as Pytest, Playwright, or similar technologies.
Experience working in Agile engineering teams.
Ideal Candidate
A strong backend engineer proficient in Python and Node.js, with experience building scalable services and APIs. Automation framework experience is expected as a supporting skill, while the primary focus is on backend engineering, system design, and delivering reliable software products.
