Role Description The Senior Software Engineer role is a full-time remote position responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust software solutions that support Mona Trading’s operations and client-facing systems. Day-to-day activities include writing high-quality, maintainable code, implementing and optimizing back-end services and APIs, and integrating software components with existing platforms. The Senior Software Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical specifications, and ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and reliable. The role also involves reviewing code, mentoring other engineers, contributing to architectural decisions, and participating in continuous improvement of development processes and standards.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science principles, including algorithms, data structures, and software design concepts.
Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience delivering production-grade applications.
Hands-on expertise in Back-End Web Development, including building and maintaining APIs and server-side services.
Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and ability to design modular, reusable, and scalable software components.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with modern development tools and practices (e.g., version control, CI/CD, automated testing, code review).
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Effective communication skills and experience collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience in enterprise or industrial domains (manufacturing, oil & gas, or construction) is a plus.
