Technical Product Manager, Cerner (Oracle Health)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Technical Product Owner to lead Oracle Health
(Cerner) platform products, services, and technology initiatives. This leadership role is
responsible for defining product strategy, managing delivery roadmaps, driving
operational and financial outcomes, and leading high-performing teams that support
mission-critical healthcare solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Define and execute product vision, strategy, and implementation roadmaps
across Oracle Health technologies and services.
Develop and manage product KPIs, operational metrics, financial targets, and
business outcomes.
Lead the planning, development, and delivery of products, services, and platform
capabilities.
Ensure product and service offerings are scalable, supportable, and aligned with
stakeholder requirements.
Collaborate with customers, engineering, operations, architecture, and leadership
teams to execute product strategy.
Own product governance, prioritization, roadmaps, release planning, and
lifecycle management.
Act as the primary escalation point for product risks, service issues, and critical
incidents.
Drive incident management, problem management, operational excellence, and
service improvement initiatives.
Manage financial performance, resource planning, contractual commitments, and
delivery objectives.
Lead innovation, modernization, and adoption of emerging technologies across
the Oracle Health ecosystem.
Leadership Responsibilities
Build, mentor, and retain high-performing product, engineering, and delivery
teams.
Define team goals, objectives, performance metrics, and success measures.
Conduct coaching, career development planning, performance reviews, and
talent management activities.
Prioritize workloads, optimize team capacity, and ensure successful execution of
strategic initiatives.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, customer focus, and continuous
improvement.
Required Skills
Product Ownership, Product Management, or Technical Program Leadership
experience.
Strong understanding of Oracle Health (Cerner) platforms and healthcare
technology ecosystems.
Product Strategy, Roadmap Development, and Portfolio Management.
Financial Management, Budget Planning, and Business Case Development.
Executive Stakeholder and Customer Management.
Incident, Problem, and Risk Management.
Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or Hybrid Delivery Methodologies.
Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Preferred Skills
Oracle Health Millennium, Hosting, Managed Services, or Infrastructure
experience.
Healthcare IT, EHR/EMR, Clinical Systems, or Revenue Cycle knowledge.
Cloud Transformation, SRE, Automation, or Platform Engineering experience.
Experience managing globally distributed product and delivery teams.
Certifications such as CSPO, SAFe POPM, PMP, PgMP, or Agile Product
Management.
