Role Description
We are looking for a Backend Engineer for a full-time, on-site opportunity based in Morena, Madhya Pradesh, India.
The role is suitable for fresh graduates and technology professionals interested in backend engineering, software development, REST APIs, databases, microservices, distributed systems, cloud technologies, enterprise applications, automation, and modern software-engineering practices.
The Backend Engineer will work closely with software, IT, data, analytics, operations, production, supply chain, finance, sales, and other business teams to develop, test, integrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve backend services, APIs, databases, internal platforms, enterprise applications, automation solutions, and digital systems.
The role may involve working with Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, Go, Spring Boot, Django, Flask, FastAPI, Node.js, Express.js, .NET, REST APIs, SQL and NoSQL databases, microservices, cloud platforms, messaging systems, testing frameworks, Git, CI/CD, and other modern backend technologies depending on project and business requirements.
Qualifications
B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. / BCA / MCA / M.Sc. / M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Applications, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline.
Freshers and experienced candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
Candidates with 0–5 years of experience in backend engineering, backend development, software engineering, application development, API development, enterprise software, or related technology roles can apply.
Candidates currently working as Backend Engineer, Backend Developer, Backend Software Engineer, Backend Software Developer, Software Engineer, Software Developer, Java Backend Engineer, Python Backend Engineer, Node.js Backend Developer, API Developer, Application Developer, Associate Software Engineer, Graduate Software Engineer, Junior Backend Engineer, or Junior Software Engineer are encouraged to apply.
Candidates from IT services, SaaS, product companies, technology, consulting, e-commerce, fintech, telecom, analytics, manufacturing, logistics, FMCG, or other industries are welcome.
Basic to good knowledge of one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, Go, C++, PHP, or similar technologies.
Understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, exception handling, debugging, modular programming, clean code, and software-development fundamentals.
Familiarity with backend frameworks such as Spring Boot, Django, Flask, FastAPI, Node.js, Express.js, .NET, or similar technologies will be beneficial.
Basic to good understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP/HTTPS, web services, authentication, authorization, API integration, and system integration.
Familiarity with SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, Redis, or similar relational and NoSQL databases will be beneficial.
Understanding of database design, normalization, joins, indexing, transactions, schemas, CRUD operations, queries, query optimization, and data-access concepts will be advantageous.
Exposure to microservices architecture, distributed systems, service-oriented architecture, scalable backend services, event-driven architecture, or high-availability systems will be beneficial but is not mandatory.
Familiarity with Git, GitHub, version control, branching, pull requests, code reviews, debugging, and collaborative software-development workflows.
Exposure to JUnit, PyTest, Jest, Mockito, TestNG, Postman, unit testing, integration testing, API testing, or automated testing will be beneficial.
Exposure to Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, caching, message queues, asynchronous processing, background jobs, scheduled tasks, or event-driven systems will be considered an advantage.
Exposure to AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CI/CD, or similar cloud and DevOps technologies will be beneficial.
Basic understanding of Linux, command-line tools, application deployment, environment configuration, logging, monitoring, and production-support concepts will be advantageous.
Familiarity with OAuth, JWT, role-based access control, secure coding, API security, encryption, authentication, authorization, input validation, and application-security concepts will be beneficial.
Exposure to application performance optimization, database tuning, connection pooling, caching strategies, scalability, reliability, fault tolerance, observability, and troubleshooting will be advantageous.
Familiarity with ORM technologies, repositories, persistence layers, entity relationships, transactions, and backend data-access patterns will be beneficial.
Exposure to frontend technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular, Vue.js, or Next.js will be beneficial but is not mandatory.
Exposure to automation, data engineering, analytics, AI/ML, generative AI, ERP, CRM, dashboards, reporting systems, or enterprise applications will be considered an additional advantage.
Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Jira, SDLC, technical documentation, requirements gathering, user stories, sprint planning, or issue tracking will be advantageous but is not mandatory.
Good analytical, logical, debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication, documentation, collaboration, and teamwork abilities.
Ability to understand business and technical requirements and translate them into practical, reliable, scalable, maintainable, and secure backend solutions.
Willingness to work in an on-site environment.
Internship, academic project, backend project, API project, database project, microservices project, software project, GitHub project, hackathon, freelance assignment, startup project, or open-source contribution will be considered but is not mandatory.
Candidates without previous full-time backend-engineering experience can also apply.
Strong willingness to learn new programming languages, backend frameworks, databases, APIs, cloud platforms, testing tools, and modern software-engineering practices.
