Role Description The Purchase Logistics Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Canada. This role oversees procurement activities, including raising and managing purchase orders, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services required for business operations. The manager monitors inventory levels, plans replenishment cycles, and aligns purchasing schedules with project and office needs to avoid stockouts or excess inventory. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing supplier quotations, negotiating pricing and terms, tracking shipments, resolving delivery or quality issues, and maintaining accurate purchasing and logistics records. The role also involves collaborating with internal stakeholders to forecast requirements, optimize purchasing budgets, and support efficient logistics workflows that meet organizational timelines and compliance standards.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Purchase Management and Purchasing, with the ability to manage end-to-end procurement processes.
Candidates should possess practical experience in handling Purchase Orders and coordinating with vendors and service providers.
Candidates should possess solid Procurement skills, including supplier evaluation, negotiation, and contract management.
Candidates should possess Inventory Management skills, with experience in monitoring stock levels and planning replenishment.
Relevant experience in logistics or supply chain management, especially in a services or consulting environment, is beneficial.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field is preferred.
