About The Role
We are seeking a skilled Web Developer (m/w/d) to join our development team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining internal web applications and associated backend services. Your work will involve designing and implementing APIs and similar interfaces, ensuring seamless integration with internal systems such as CRM, databases, and specialized applications. You will play a key role in data modeling and database access, optimizing for performance, security, and maintainability. Additionally, you will ensure software quality through automated testing, code reviews, and troubleshooting. The position offers an exciting opportunity to work on modern containerized environments, including CI/CD pipelines, deploying services on Kubernetes and Docker platforms. Collaboration with various departments to understand requirements, document processes, and ensure compliance with security and data protection standards will be integral to your responsibilities. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a completed degree in computer science or a related field, complemented by several years of relevant professional experience in web development. Proficiency with container technologies and experience in integrating, monitoring, and troubleshooting cloud infrastructures are essential. Candidates should have solid knowledge of Linux and Windows system administration, installation, and configuration. A self-driven, structured, and reliable working style is crucial, along with enthusiasm for emerging technologies. Strong problem-solving skills, a focus on quality, and analytical thinking are highly valued. Fluency in German at least at C2 level and good English language skills (minimum B1) are required for effective communication within our international environment. Additionally, familiarity with API development, version control, and security standards will be advantageous.
Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include developing, maintaining, and optimizing internal web applications and backend services, with a focus on API conception, implementation, and documentation. You will ensure seamless integration of internal systems, data sources, and platform services, emphasizing performance, security, and stability. Managing data models and database access will be part of your daily tasks, with an emphasis on best practices. You will implement automated tests, conduct code reviews, and troubleshoot errors to uphold high software quality standards. Creating and maintaining container images, CI/CD pipelines, and deploying services on Kubernetes and Docker platforms will be central to your role. You will also collaborate closely with various departments to gather requirements, document technical processes, and ensure compliance with IT security, data protection, and regulatory standards.
