About The Role
YO IT Consulting is seeking an experienced JavaScript Developer for a remote contract opportunity involving frontend engineering expertise and AI training initiatives. The successful candidate will use their knowledge of JavaScript, modern frontend frameworks, software architecture, and web development best practices to support the development and evaluation of AI systems.
In this role, you will apply established engineering principles to assess technical outputs, solve development challenges, and provide high-quality input that helps AI models understand how professional developers approach complex programming tasks. Depending on project requirements, responsibilities may include evaluating generated code, identifying technical errors, reviewing implementation approaches, and developing or refining solutions that demonstrate sound software engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

AI Training and Evaluation: Apply JavaScript expertise to help train and evaluate AI systems by reviewing programming outputs, assessing technical accuracy, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Code Quality Assessment: Analyze source code for correctness, readability, maintainability, efficiency, security considerations, and adherence to software engineering best practices.
Technical Problem-Solving: Solve complex JavaScript development problems and provide clear, logically structured solutions that demonstrate effective programming approaches.
Frontend Architecture: Contribute to architectural decisions, select appropriate implementation patterns, and support the development of reusable and maintainable frontend components.
Framework Implementation: Work with modern frameworks and libraries such as React, Vue.js, or Angular to develop interactive and scalable user interfaces.

Required Skills And Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Extensive professional experience developing sophisticated web applications using JavaScript.
Strong understanding of modern JavaScript features, asynchronous programming, browser APIs, and frontend application architecture.
Practical experience with at least one major frontend framework or library, such as React, Vue.js, or Angular.
