Job Brief: Join JSW Steel Limited's Hot Strip Mill team as a key operational professional responsible for overseeing and managing the frontline activities of the steel manufacturing process. This role demands hands-on involvement in monitoring production lines, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, and optimizing operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to maintain seamless workflow, troubleshoot process issues, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and control the hot strip mill operations to ensure smooth and efficient production flow.
Conduct regular inspections of equipment and processes to maintain compliance with safety and quality standards.
Coordinate with maintenance teams to promptly address mechanical or operational issues minimizing downtime.
Implement standard operating procedures and ensure adherence by all frontline staff.
Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements.
Train and mentor junior operators and new team members on operational best practices and safety protocols.
Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure product specifications and customer requirements are consistently met.
Maintain accurate production records and prepare reports for senior management review.
Participate in continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing productivity and reducing waste.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company policies throughout the production process.
