Deputy Manager (MG3).

The DC Design & Planning Associate is responsible for providing design engineering, layout development, and planning support for critical power and genset projects tailored specifically to Data Center applications across global markets.
Reporting to the Manager- DC Technical Support, this role focuses on supporting the development of technically sound, highly reliable designs, mechanical/electrical layouts, single-line diagrams, and execution plans across all genset ranges (including High Horsepower / HHP sets and containerized solutions).
The incumbent ensures compliance with customer specifications, Data Center industry standards (e.g., Uptime Institute Tier II/III/IV, ASHRAE), and project requirements, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure precise project execution and timely delivery.
Position Specific Skills:
• Strong foundational knowledge of genset systems, mechanical layouts, fuel systems, and acoustic attenuation across multiple capacity ranges.
• Familiarity with Data Center power concepts, redundancy architectures (N, N+1, 2N, 2N+1), and basic understanding of industry standards (e.g., Uptime Institute Tier levels, ASHRAE guidelines).
• Proficiency in engineering design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, 3D CAD modeling) and technical documentation creation.
• Understanding of global codes, standards, and customer technical specifications.
• Strong analytical, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication, technical writing, and interpersonal skills.
