Account Executive

ABOUT THE ROLE
Join a small team at an early-stage AI recruiting company and turn conversations with founders and hiring leaders into new customers. You will own the B2B sales process from discovery through signed agreement, helping startups find and hire talent.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Run discovery to understand a company's hiring needs, decision-makers, and timelines, then present relevant recruiting services.
- Manage sales conversations, respond to objections, negotiate terms, and close agreements.
- Follow up consistently, maintain accurate CRM records, and hand off new customers to the delivery team.
- Partner with sales development representatives to improve meeting quality and outreach.
- Share customer feedback to help improve sales messaging, pricing, and processes.
- Follow up on inbound interest and conduct outbound prospecting when appropriate.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Experience closing B2B deals as an account executive or in a similar full-cycle sales role.
- Comfort speaking with founders and hiring managers and leading sales conversations from first meeting to close.
- Experience selling to SMBs or startups is helpful, as is experience in recruiting, staffing, or HR services.
- Strong follow-through, reliable CRM habits, and openness to coaching.
- Measurable sales results, such as quota attainment, deal sizes, revenue ranking, or sales cycle length, are useful.
- Interest in startups and using AI tools in a sales workflow is a plus.
LOCATION
Based in the Salt Lake City, Utah area, or able to travel or relocate there for in-person onboarding. After onboarding, the role can be remote or hybrid.
